Made this Spiderman Parkour animation to test my body mechanics skills. The animation is finished and the next step is to render it in Maya. I discovered that doing Parkour enhances your ability to mitigate challenges such as how character interacts with the environment and how it can be used as a springboard when all you want to achieve is forward moentum.
This animation short is made entirely in Blender. Every asset, from the character to the environment, is low poly to save on render times and computing power . The delivery however is not short on anything. From characters intent to its body mechanics along with dynamic camera work come together to deliver a naturalistic performance culminating in a beautiful shot of the sunrise
